Recorded about 20 minuets of footage with Muzou only to get an error message at 99% when compressing the video.
Wonderful.
Thankfully, I rather enjoy this game, so I’m willing to play it again.

Debris’ author just uploaded a new game known as ”Muzou” (夢像), which could be roughly translated as “Dream Image”. It’s made with RPG Maker 2000, it’s in Japanese, and… that’s all I know right now. I’m about to play it and, since I have some free time on my hands, record some footage to upload to YouTube. Stay tuned!
Oh, and you can download it here.
EDIT: Upon doing more research, I think the game’s title should actually be “Dream-Like”. I’m not very familiar with Zou (像), but I thought it was a picture or a work of art. While it can mean “statue”, it can also mean “like”, as in “similar to”.
Sorry, I am anything but a native speaker, so oftentimes my Japanese can be kinda… er… well… “rough”, to say the least. (i.e. it’s not very good.)
EDIT2: Main character’s name is “Soutarou.”
The official Yume Nikki manga will be drawn by Hitoshi Tomizawa, author of Alien 9 and Milk Closet; that’s kind of the most perfect fit possible. I’m actually excited about this.
It’s interesting to see how the artist depicts Madotsuki in a hoodie, as I always imagined it was a sweater. The depictions of the nexus and balcony look really interesting to me (I like how the artist stayed close to the game’s original designs and art styles), and I like the little details like the boxes under Madotsuki’s bed.
It appears that the artist took the liberty of moving Madotsuki’s bed to the South-East corner of her bedroom, as we never see this wall during the game due to the game’s overhead camera.

Watercolor
Experimenting with ink and watercolors. This was actually the first time I had ever used a quill and ink before… It was strange, to say the least.
I was overall fairly please with how the watercolor came out. However, I’m a bit unsatisfied with the cats— Some of the highlights and shadows could have been much more impressive, I feel, and there’s a few other small things… but, as previously mentioned, I’m content with this piece.
Naw, it’s fine, I don’t mind you using some of the stuff I translated. That’s not really “stealing” anyways (at least not in my eyes).
If you ever need help with something, feel free to ask! A good example would be the wallpapers: they’re going to require a bit of work, especially because of the weird way they’re programmed. I actually have some old notes I jotted down that “broke down” how it was programmed and how it would need to be handled.
It’s also important to note that direct translations won’t always work due to screen size limitations. My solution for the wallpapers was to change:
No. XXX Title (wallpaper’s name) Illustrator XXX
to:
No. XXX “(wallpaper’s name)” by XXX
I’d also be willing to help with more graphical stuff. Anyways, good luck!
By “restricting creativity and freedom”, I’m referring to telling people that they can’t draw or even talk about the game. Not wanting people to redistribute the game? Alright, that’s fine. Not wanting people to upload videos? Uh… weird, but okay. Not wanting people to talk/discuss? That’s a bit much if you ask me.
Saying I was a “rebel” was just a joke, and while it’s sad that Koronba is (possibly) going through a rough time, trying to erase all traces of something that has fans is ludicrous.
I’m not mad at Koronba/wish him harm, I just think he made a strange decision.
(also, not directed at anon, but it’s interesting to note that fanart is still being posted to pixiv and videos are still up on NicoNicoDouga. I’m sure that in time the word will get out about his message, but for now it seems that either not many people are aware of it, or are just disregarding it.)
I’m sorry, but what game are you asking for? LcdDem?
Yup, that’s LcdDem’s ending (though whether or not that’s really her mom is up for debate, that’s just what fans have all agreed on.)
It’s interesting you bring that up because that was another point I was going to bring up in my first post, though wound up omitting due to the post getting to long. I myself believe that there’s a possibility that LcdDem was inspired by events in Koronba’s life, including possible emotions he was going through.
Koronba even mentioned at one point that some of the locations were based off of places he saw in his own dreams. This alone can be used to infer that Koronba used personal elements to make the game, and possibly inspire the ending.
Depending on how you look at it, LcdDem could be a game where Chie is trying to forget the tragedy (she refuses to acknowledge the door in her room), but after collecting all the orbs in her dreamworld, she is able to finally come to the realization of what happened.
It’s interesting to note that Chie’s story never really had a happy ending. Perhaps this could show that Koronba himself is still in pain?
But alas, this is all speculation, and I’m no therapist, so all of this can only be taken with a grain of salt, if even that.

What the heck?! O.O
I wonder why he went and did that all of a sudden, I mean it could be the reasons that you and a friend said about…
This is almost like a ‘more polite’ version of what happened with Zenmaigahara…but the impact is still pretty much the same.
-I’d personally argue that there’s still a slight nuance between Zenmaigahara and Koronba. Whereas Zen only alienated a section of her fans, Koronba alienated all of his fans. As I said when the Nisshi drama was happening, there could have been better ways to handle this rather than denying fans the game. And, on top of that, demanding them to forget the game ever existed.
